The Manchester Stationery show is nearly upon us! Who's excited?I know I am, I will be visiting under the guise of my Pseudonym "The Filofaxist" as a blogger looking to review products. This something i'm more than happy to do as I love ALL things stationery!!! I will be attending on the Wednesday and hope to do some live reviews and maybe a few videos as well, check back next week for more news. Sadly it doesn't appear that Filofax will be going but I believe that there will be other journal and organiser vendors there.

What does your handwriting say about you?  
Get your handwriting analysed free of charge at the show by graphologist Christina Strang. Book an appointment now and drop off a sample of your handwriting with her when you arrive (stand 47). Go back later in the day to get her feedback!

I may trade under the name of the Filofaxist but I have an appreciation of all things from the world of planners and organisation, so today's review is about a paperchase binder.      Paperchase have been stockists of Filofax  products for many years and until recently had a good selection of quality items, sadly this seems no longer to be the case. They do offer their own range of planners, something I've looked at many times whilst browsing through their store, most of it looks like chintz, not something that appeals to me.  I like my planners to be business like and functional, not flowery and pretty, I'm using it for work or ideas and sometimes journalling. This binder is only a half decent product with not a great deal worth getting excited about, not something I would pay full price for. Updated List Of Organisers

Well Christmas as usual has been a whirlwind and eaten up all my time but finally i'm back in the office getting on with things. First up is my list of organiser brands that you may have seen before, I've added about another 40 names I have found over the last few months. I have also added 2 new sections, branded Filofax and Funfax, I will be reviewing these in a blog post very soon. If any of you have any examples or photos you would like to share, please do so in the comments. ​ I’ve spent the last few months trawling the internet searching for websites that are related to planners and organisers and here is what I have found. There so many more brands out there than I could have imagined, I thought that this market would be shrinking in modern times, not expanding! Galen Leather card book

I've had this in my stash for a few weeks now and haven't gotten around to doing anything with it, until now.  It's no bigger than a credit card and is ideally suited to fit in a wallet or possibly a card slot in a Filofax or organiser. Like many other Galen Leather notebooks it's made by Tomoe River and is very thin but also high quality. I'm yet to find a pen to go with it  but it's pretty unlikely I ever will! I will be keeping mine in my Filofax Malen Ochre Wallet as a back up notebook.
