The Cardbook

Image
I spotted this today on Facebook as posted by Galen Leather. Entitled the "Cardbook"  it states that it’s credit card sized and that is all I know, it couldn't be found on the GL website. I'm presuming it's a notebook and would fit in a credit card slot in your wallet, notebook holder or Filofax. I’m a big lover of accessories that will fit in my organisers so I'm going to try get one and try it out! No doubt there will be a review to follow.......

Filofax A4 Metropol

This post was actually first published back in 2016 for another blog, I still feel it's relevant and thought I would share it now. I hope you enjoy! Filofax A4 Zipped Metropol My passion for Filofax began as a child even though no one in my family owned one, not that I know of anyway. I somehow ended up getting one at a jumble sale or car boot sale, it was personal sized, leather had a loop closure and was fairly basic. Since then my passion has grown and I know have more Filofaxes than a sane person actually needs, but it makes me happy and that’s all that matters. I have used all different sizes at different times for different projects but my main organiser has always been an A4 Filofax and has predominantly contained a diary, annual planners and space for taking notes along with useful bits and pieces. Until recently I was using an A4 brown Metropol made from PU material, howe

Post-It Notes for your Filofax If you own a Filofax I would be massively surprised if you didn't own a Post-It note or 2! I own pretty much every type of sticky note you can imagine and I use plenty of them in my organisers, mainly Post-It brand, obviously the Filofax own brand ones plus quite a few other none-too-well-known brands. A few years ago I noticed a range of Post-It notes branded under the "Mobile" umbrella, these intrigued me so I had a further delve. These have never been available in the UK but were marketed originally for the US market and have made it in to a few other European locations as well. These items tend to be sticky notes or flags that will fit into an organiser or will attach to a bag, wallet or purse. To date I have only been able to get a set via Amazon due to its Global Shipping Programme, shipping from the USA is just ridiculous so I have avoided wasting my money thus far! I absolutely love this and will be putting into a pocket sized

Tombow AirPress Pen Not everything on here is just about the mighty Filofax, I'm equally passionate about stationery and all things office. Christmas was a much less extravagant affair this year but I still had plenty of quality family time, however, gifts were also a lot less extravagant! My sister purchased a few items for me that are definitely stationery and office related, a book and a pen!  The book is titled "The Checklist Manifesto" by Atul Gawande and published by Profile Books. I'm not going to review the book on here just yet, partly because I need to read and secondly my blog isn't about books.  The pen is an AirPress made by Tombow who are based in Germany, supposedly it writes on wet paper and can be used upside down, something I need to test first. It writes very comfortably although the pen shell is quite chunky, the nib is black ink with 0.7 ball making it in the fine category. It performed well, I scribbled for a few
